30 November 2023 – Inoapps, a leading global Oracle partner and Systems Integrator, today announced that it is Oracle’s first partner globally to be accredited for their brand-new Software Asset Management (SAM) Program.

This advisory program is designed to help customers manage Oracle software assets and align their Oracle contracts with their actual software usage. The scheme is global and Inoapps is delighted to offer these services to their global customer base.

The program offers customers regular reviews and updates to their licensing and subscriptions, which can lead to gaining audit exemptions from Oracle. Audits are often unbudgeted and unscheduled additional projects for organizations to tackle, and this newly accredited SAM service has been created to help guide customers through the complexities of Oracle software licensing in a proactive and stress free setting.

As part of the service, Inoapps will provide evidential data accompanied with clear explanations and documentation detailing each area of a customer’s software estate. As a subscription service, the new SAM program provides peace of mind to customers regarding their exact software license position on an ongoing basis rather than one-off, point in time exercises.

Said Andrew Norris, Senior Vice President Commercial Management, Inoapps: "Inoapps provides a wealth of experience in licensing and managing Oracle estates. From Infrastructure to Applications, procurement to decommissioning, we help our customers through the entire lifecycle of Oracle software asset management. What this means in real-world terms is that we can help our customers identify potential licensing risks and then help fix them with both licensing expertise and practical technical assistance.”

The official program, launched by Oracle at CloudWorld in Las Vegas in September 2023, is designed to cover customers on premises estates in Database & Options, Fusion Middleware and E-Business Suite. Inoapps is also able to perform the same type of service for their SAAS and PAAS customers.
