How did you first hear about Inoapps?

I had heard of Inoapps as a partner, but I hadn’t worked with them at the time. I was approached via LinkedIn and told about an opportunity to join the team. After that, I had a good conversation with Andrew Norris who did a great job telling about the future of the company and where I would play a part in it.

How long have you been working for Inoapps?

Just over three years.

What was your initial attraction to the company and why did you apply for a role?

Coming from Oracle, I saw it as a fresh challenge. But the conversation with Andrew Norris really sold me on the idea.

What projects have you worked on and which ones did you enjoy the most?

I really enjoyed creating the Business Development team. We created a team of Business Development reps (mainly graduates straight out of University) and the goal of the project was to attract and work with and develop young, energetic talent into Sales Professionals. It was like an Inoapps Sales Academy. I worked with management from idea to fruition and that led to the creation of the Inside Sales Team which now operates on a global scale.

What learning and development schemes have you been a part of and where do you see your path to progression leading you?

I like to do my own learning and development. That includes watching videos, reading books and listening to podcasts for sales tips and other kinds of inspiration. In terms of Inoapps, a lot of my development has come from working with graduates and trying to help them learn themselves. I work closely with Marketing and various senior management to give one to one sales training sessions wherever appropriate. It’s a great way for newer members of the team to learn the different sales techniques, strategies, cultures and personalities.

What is the best part about working for Inoapps?

The best part about working for Inoapps – without a doubt – is the people. Inoapps has a very eclectic blend of people and that blend works to its benefit. No two people are the same and this allows you to obtain better insight and learn from their wisdom and experience.

What’s been your favourite Inoapps moment so far?

It would have to be the 2017 Christmas Party. It was a great night with lots of different people from the business.

What would be the first piece of advice you would give to someone joining the company?

Talk to people and get to know as many people as possible. Listen to what they say, take a little bit of information from everyone and apply it to what you do.
