How did you first hear about Inoapps?

I first heard about Inoapps when I was working at Team Solve. I heard loads of good things about what the company were doing in the apps space. It wasn’t long after that when Inoapps bought Team Solve and we all ended up working together.

How long have you been working for Inoapps?

Eight years.

What was your initial attraction to the company and why did you apply for a role?

It would have to be the Management Team that was in place. I had my first meeting with Andy Bird, and he was very enthusiastic and clear about his vision for the company and his plans to succeed. We just hit it off straightway. I was also attracted to the team mentality and how even senior members of staff would make time for you in spite of their busy schedules.

What projects have you worked on and which ones did you enjoy the most?

Within my time at Inoapps, there haven’t been many projects that I haven’t been involved in so it’s hard to pick one. Someone like me, I’ve been here for so long, my roles and responsibilities have evolved over time. For example, I’ve worked on Oil & Gas. I’ve also worked very closely with our Public Sector team on some key projects. What gives me the most pride is what I’ve been doing with the Managed Services division. There’s three of us who are Account Managers, and we specifically focus on customer retention. Working with Managed Services alongside our customers has been absolutely fantastic. 

What learning and development schemes have you been a part of and where do you see your path to progression leading you?

In our Sales roles, we must do annual training to ensure we keep our certified status with Oracle. Every year, we have Pre-Sales and Sales training. That includes SaaS, Databases, Apps, PaaS or any of the tech products. I’ve always said that I adore working here because as you become more trusted in the business, you gain more responsibility and I see that as progression. I just want to keep doing what I do and be successful along the way. 

What is the best part about working for Inoapps?

My colleagues; and I know that sounds cheesy, but I get to work with some really skilled people who are experts in their field. It’s a rewarding experience because I’m part of a team who solve problems and change the world at the same time. 

What’s been your favourite Inoapps moment so far?

Seeing the business grow from 15-20 staff when I jointed to now becoming a global business with offices worldwide and knowing that I’ve been part of that growth. When you look at where we’ve been and where we’re going, it’s a very exciting time to be involved. 

What would be the first piece of advice you would give to someone joining the company?

Speak up and speak to your peers. There’s no better indicator of how people feel about a company than what the employees say. Keep talking and it’s a great way to learn as you go along.
