How did you first hear about Inoapps?

Inoapps acquired the company that I worked for previously and that company provided Inoapps with Managed Services.

How long have you been working for Inoapps?

I’m the longest-serving member of the Sales Team and I’m currently in my fifteenth year at Inoapps.

What was your initial attraction to the company and why did you apply for a role?

As I mentioned previously, the company I worked for was acquired by Inoapps so I initially came on board as an Account Manager so I could continue to work alongside our most loyal customers.

"Inoapps is at the forefront of Cloud technology so for emerging talent looking to cut their teeth in Sales and work with a Tier 1 software vendor like Oracle, it’s a great place to develop your competitive edge. You can make your mark by working hard and your career progression will be quick, visible and rewarding."

What projects have you worked on and which ones did you enjoy the most?

I worked with a Housing Trust on a five-year Managed Services Support contract which was just shy of one million pounds. It was a very challenging project to work on because there were a lot of PQQs and ITTs so I was proud to get it over the line. Bear in mind, the first project that I worked on with this organisation was fifteen years prior where myself and a colleague recovered their financial database because they hadn’t done a backup recovery. I maintained contact with them ever since. More recently, I’ve worked with Fruit Of The Loom and this has been a great project to be a part of simply because of the size and scale of the transformation. This has been my first Customer to Cloud transformational piece of business for such a high-profile company.

Where do you see your path to progression leading you?

I’ve been on a few Oracle Sales modules and several internal Sales and awareness courses. I’ve been around the block a few times so these training schemes were useful in helping me to sharpen up my skills.

What is the best part about working for Inoapps?

The people without a doubt. I’ve been working with some of my colleagues for over a decade and it feels good to still be on this journey with them. I also love to see new talent coming into the business. I really like the personal touch at Inoapps and it’s a big reason why I’ve stayed with the company for so long.

What’s been your favourite Inoapps moment so far?

I have lots of good memories of the company events that we used to have. There was one in Birmingham where we went horse racing and we got a chance to really bond outside of the office.

What would be the first piece of advice you would give to someone joining the company?

Inoapps is at the forefront of Cloud technology so for emerging talent looking to cut their teeth in Sales and work with a Tier 1 software vendor like Oracle, it’s a great place to develop your competitive edge. You can make your mark by working hard and your career progression will be quick, visible and rewarding.
