Role Overview

The Senior Operations Analyst role serves as a subject matter expert to help the organisation make business decisions for the long-term success and growth of the organisation. They use best practice models to help the organisation achieve efficiency and process improvement outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the delivery of internal projects and initiatives identified in the business transformation roadmaps, working with the relevant stakeholders to pull together business cases, define plans, identify necessary resource requirements, budgets and manage dependencies across initiatives
  • Support Division Leads with completing business impact assessments and identifying and managing the associated RAID items
  • Support Division Leads with communications of transformation strategies and objectives
  • Design, map and document as-is and to-be business processes associated with the transformation initiatives
  • Collaborate with different areas of the business to collate data and perform data analysis, and produce the necessary artefacts to present the information and recommendations to support business decision making
  • Provide consolidated status reports
  • Support business stakeholders to identify further opportunities for business process improvements and efficiencies

  • Effective communication- ability to communicate effectively to a range of stakeholders, and use a variety of communication methods appropriate to the target audience to articulate key messages and produce relevant material to support the task
  • Project management – deliver industry best practice including but not limited to planning, budget/resource/team management and delivery quality
  • Business analysis – ability to collate, analyse and digest high volume and complex data quickly, then translate and structure into meaningful formats/output/presentation for the intended audience, applying relevant business concepts and strategies where needed in order to support the organisation with achieving their business outcomes
