Inoapps roundtables, keynotes, panels and challenges—who needs to sleep?

By Debra Lilley
Thought Leader & Advocate at Inoapps

It's almost time for Oracle AI World—until recently called Oracle Cloud World—renamed to reflect Oracle’s current innovation focus. Are you attending? I'll be there and there's lots I'm looking forward to.

AI is of course what everyone’s talking about. Oracle has it built into their infrastructure and my world of Fusion apps, so it's to be expected this will be the main topic covered. However, there’s plenty of other things happening off-piste.

For one, Inoapps will be hosting our roundtables again this year. On the Tuesday, I'm facilitating two focused on Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS). The first is with my fellow ACE director, Mia Urman, and we’ll be talking about ways to modernize your EBS. The second is a Q&A focused on EBS strategy. Both will be open discussions with businesses using EBS, looking at where it’s going and how you can get more from it. We ran these roundtables last year, and were joined by Nadia Bendjedou, Oracle VP Product Strategy EBS, and had great conversations. As a taster, here are some EBS questions asked at Ascend 2025.

On the Wednesday, we have two more roundtables. One is on using AI with Fusion Cloud Applications. Attendees are invited to explore how AI can help solve their business challenges in real, practical ways. The other focuses on Oracle’s AI advantage for Construction, and looks at how embedded Oracle AI and Inoapps products help solve common industry issues.

When I talk to customers, my advice is always to start with their challenges, not the technology. When considering AI or any other enhancement. there needs to be something tangible that’s being replaced, enhanced or modernized. So, at the end of each of the roundtables, we’re inviting attendees to Challenge Inoapps—to bring along their toughest questions for us to solve with the latest tech and fresh thinking. This isn’t restricted to people coming to Oracle AI World—you can Challenge Inoapps today and let us turn your questions into Oracle-powered breakthroughs.

When it comes to the Oracle sessions, top of my list is Steve Miranda's keynote—Accelerate success with AI in Oracle Applications—to hear more about the ‘built in not bolted on’ strategy for AI in Fusion Cloud Applications.

At Inoapps we have several customers looking at how this built in AI can help with their challenges. Oracle has some great partner training, but if you want to get your hands on the AI Studio, there are Hands-on Labs repeated throughout the event: AI Agent Studio Explorers Lab: Building Agents from Prebuilt Templates. There’s also pre-event training on the Monday.

I’m obviously look forward to Larry Ellison’s Vision and Strategy keynote. Still at the heart of everything Oracle does, his vision is inspiring.

In the past few years, I've really enjoyed listening to Safra Katz interviewing customers with real life case studies that don't come over as marketing hype. So that keynote is high on my list.

I'm honored to be part of AI World myself, taking part in the panel Connect and Extend Oracle SaaS (ERP, HCM, CX) with Oracle Integration [PAN2794], where I’ll be sharing customer stories about our projects.

I’ll also be on a Birds of a Feather roundtable with fellow ACE director and CEO of our partner, AuraPlayer, Mia Urman: Cloud Clarity: Strategies for Modernizing Oracle EBS to the Cloud [BOF1611].

We have lots Inoapps people at AI world. If you're one of our customers, we hope to spend time with you. And if we're not then come and have a conversation, give us your challenge and let's keep the conversation going.
