New features including extensions to our award-winning Outturn Planning solution

October 2022 sees the latest 22C release of Inoapps’ Industry Cloud Extensions, amongst them a product recently recognized as a leading-industry ERP innovation. The ERP Today Awards recognized Inoapps Outturn Planning (OTP) as “Commended” in the very competitive ERP Tech Innovation category, recognizing the capability and success of this solution. 

Developed in conjunction with one of the largest global construction main contractors, the OTP solution enables project managers and quantity surveyors to manage the end-to-end lifecycle of their project delivery, delivering accurate forecasting of project performance through to outturn.

Inoapps’ Industry Cloud Extensions are industry-focused solutions that extend and augment the capabilities of Oracle Cloud ERP and SCM to meet the specific needs of customers in the energy, engineering & construction, higher education, professional services and public sectors. 

The very latest release of OTP has been made available to all customers as part of Release 22C, and delivers a range of new features including:

Outturn Planning application

Extension of capabilities to cater for global portfolios of projects, including:

  • Delivery of extended reporting capabilities to enable granular view of cost and revenue transactions
  • Improvements to project team members communications to deliver enhanced transparency of project movements

Developed in close collaboration with customers, release 22C of Inoapps Industry Cloud Extensions includes additional capabilities for other modules, including:

Subcontractor Management Cloud - delivering advanced capabilities to manage your subcontractors 

  • Ability to access and manage data security at Business Unit level to distinguish between administrator and Project Team users
  • Improved submission validation, retention, approval and error processes for reports and audit trails
  • 'Deep linking' back to ERP Purchase Orders further extended for enhanced usability

Rentals Cloud – efficiently and effectively managing rental equipment to maximize utilization 

  • Automatic Billing Correction and Adjustments functionality gives the Rentals user greater control over receipts from Oracle to ensure that the module is the source of truth for all data
  • Amend/Change dates feature to track and maintain On/Off Hire dates has been focused on and improved with emphasis on the upcoming billing functionality
  • Automation has been introduced for the Internal Purchase Order Rentals process to transfer information from Sales Orders to Purchase orders, reducing workload and risk of error

Mobile Receipting application – extending Oracle Cloud for demanding mobile use cases 

  • Functionality of the app has been enhanced to allow the upload of multiple images for supporting evidence when processing receipts
  • Admin roles and duties have been defined to ensure appropriate levels of access
  • Improved validation process prevents unnecessary errors to receipt processing

Systems Administration application

  • Interactions within each module have been simplified with regard to the handling of creation, editing and deletion to ensure continuity for the user
  • A beta test of a 'Dark Mode' capabilities has been made available for individual user accounts as part of Inoapps commitment to enhancing the user experience and meeting accessibility guidelines

Construction Industry Scheme application

  • CIS Verification Process now has an option for mass supplier verification
  • 'Deep linking' back to ERP database further extended for Construction Industry Scheme linked details

Customer Billing Management application

  • Email Audit trail created for tracking and confirmation communications sent from Application for Payment and Sales Certificate submissions

In addition, incremental features have been added to our Customer Billing Management Cloud module, Construction Industry Scheme module, Outturn Planning Cloud module, and Commercial Management Cloud modules to cater for Oracle Cloud ERP 22B release updates.
