Bringing home Computing Magazine's Infrastructure Product of the Year Award

By Dermot Murray, VP of Technology at Inoapps

A few weeks ago, we posted a somewhat tangential story about the evolution of one of the Inoapps Products portfolio from initial prototype to an enterprise grade solution, deployed to multiple customers around the world.

On Friday 25th November, that evolution was confirmed as our Inoapps Legacy Data Archiving solution won the Infrastructure Product of the Year Award at the Computing Magazine's Technology Product of the Year Awards, 2022.

My colleague Drew Edgar was there to collect the award in person, along with Dave Storey, our technical solution architect who has helped with the deployment of many of these successful projects.

It is so gratifying to be recognized by our peers for the success of this solution, only made possible by the continuing hard work of the Inoapps Products team, as well as the delivery teams responsible for the implementation of the solution.

A word of thanks must also be given for the support of our colleague Debra Lilley and all her hard work mobilizing the Oracle APEX Community to support this innovative solution, delivered on everyone's favorite LowCode platform, Oracle Application Express. To all those doubters that have questioned if APEX is scalable enough to deal with the massive volumes of data the Inoapps Legacy Data Archiving solution is delivering, the success of the solution should be evidence that APEX is clearly powerful enough for enterprise grade solutions.

But the story does not end here. The acceleration of cloud adoption means there will be even more organizations moving off Oracle E-Business Suite that need a low cost, secure, reliable and easy to use solution to meet their ongoing reporting and compliance obligations. This success will enable Inoapps to continue our investment in the product, adding incremental features and capabilities, to take the solution to new customers, prospects and markets with the glowing recommendation of ‘award-winning solution’ to support our proven project success.

Do you have a read-only Oracle E-Business Suite instance that you need to maintain for audit purposes? Are you planning to migrate to cloud and need a strategy for your historic reporting? If so, then you need to be speaking to the award-winning, Legacy Data Archiving people, Inoapps.
