InStant iPhone Apps
With the current trend towards the mobilisation of the workforce set to continue, a key part of Inoapps’ new mobile solution offering, InStant, is the development of bespoke iPhone applications for our customers.
By recognising the growing competition in many of our customers’ markets and the cost pressures they find themselves under, Inoapps realised the need to develop this new differentiator, to give our customers the ability to quickly and efficiently respond to their own clients’ needs.
InStant iPhone Apps will give field-based teams out on site the ability to capture real-time information and enter data about their work; ensuring staff are equipped with all the facilities and information needed for them to efficiently execute any task at hand.
For example, remote workers can instantly communicate with the back-office, sending photos of issues straight over to office-based staff, who can then log into the main ERP system to ensure that the right people, right equipment and right materials are at hand to facilitate any work that is needed to be performed.
Therefore the process of identifying and solving a problem will be streamlined, freeing up front-line staff to focus on adding value to customers.
The scalability of ERP platforms and the full offline capabilities of InStant iPhone apps will also provide a framework for the addition of further modules.
For example, staff working remotely will be able to log times and materials against each job, and then transmit that information to ERP systems as a timesheet.
